Orikl is an ill emerging singer/songwriter with a unique spiritual element to his soulful work. This is a vid of his original piece caled “Superior”!
Newark-based poet & mc, D-1 ripped the All Souled Out stage at Cecil’s with a few spoken word pieces. Check this gem called “Kids On My Streets”.
Some of you may recognize this talented singer/songwriter/actress for her role as “Co Co” in the successful underground film “Durdy Game”. At the moment, she’s all over the NYC/NJ metro area performing her soulful r&b sets….here’s a clip of KK performing an original track entitled “Aint No One”

Once again, “All Souled Out” Wednesdays is on and poppin’ @ Cecil’s Jazz Club, 364 Valley Road, West Orange, NJ.
Tonight’s sound set and featured artist lineup are set to make one of the best shows thus far. We’ve got Flip Da Skrip as the show’s anchor resident band to kick things off afterwork – The International Zone Coaster Max-Jerome sliding through with his soulful sound set – and performances from Orikl, Andre Davis, Ty Juan and Goddess Daye

Ty Juan came through Cecil’s Jazz Club for “All Souled Out” Wednesdays last month to do a few joints. As an indie artist, Ty Juan performed across the country on shows with Boyz II Men, Kelly Price, Jagged Edge & Ludacris to name a few.

I heard about this brother through the local live music circuit and now will have the pleasure of bringing Orikl to the “All Souled Out” Wednesday” stage @ Cecil’s Jazz Club in West Orange on December 23rd, 2009 – The “Holla Daze” Edition.
